Player to score – Gabriel Jesus (Arsenal v Ipswich)
The ketchup is finally out of the bottle for Gabriel Jesus who having gone 24 Premier League games without scoring has now found the back of the net five times in his last two outings. Up against the team with one of the leakiest defences in the division, Jesus is a good bet to continue his scoring streak.
With Bukayo Saka sidelined through injury, Jesus is almost certain to start against Ipswich Town, possibly on the right side of the front three. There will plenty of space for the Brazilian to exploit with Ipswich keen to push Leif Davies forward as the left back and so Jesus will surely have opportunities.
Over 2.5 total goals – Tottenham v Wolves
Tottenham Hotspur need a win to ease the pressure on Ange Postecoglou with the North London team on a run of four defeats in their last five league games following the Boxing Day loss to Nottingham Forest. Wolves, meanwhile, enter this weekend’s fixture on the back of a momentous victory over Manchester United.
There has been over 2.5 goals in 37 of Tottenham’s last 46 matches in the Premier League while there has also been 2.5 goals in each of Wolves’ last six league games. Everything points to this meeting at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium being an entertaining one. There will almost certainly new goals.
Match to be a draw – Everton v Nottingham Forest
It hasn’t been spectacular, but Everton’s current run of form is edging them away from trouble near the bottom of the Premier League table. The Toffees have drawn each of their last three games and eight of their last 13. Sean Dyche has made his team tough to beat again and Nottingham Forest could discover that on Sunday.
Forest came into this game on the back of a win over Tottenham Hotspur that sent them third in the table, but this will be a challenging match for Nuno Espirito Santo’s team. This could be a difficult match-up for Forest due to the fact that Everton play a similar style of football on the counter-attack.
Both teams to score – Leicester City v Manchester City
Manchester City have won just one of their last 13 games in all competitions while Leicester City are on a run of three straight defeats. This will be an encounter between two sides lacking in confidence, but it could still produce goals.
The Foxes have drawn a blank just once in 10 home games this season while City have scored in each of their last five league matches. Both sides have struggled defensively in recent times and so Sunday’s match at the King Power Stadium could be one that sees attacks come out on top.

Man United vs Newcastle
Manchester United have lost their last three games in all competitions while Newcastle United are on a winning run of four matches with Eddie Howe’s team impressive in their 3-0 victory over Aston Villa on Boxing Day. Everything suggests the Magpies will have a good chance of claiming three points on Monday.
Both teams have scored in six of the last seven matches between Manchester United and Newcastle at Old Trafford. Alexander Isak is also on a scoring run of six goals in his last five games and the Swedish striker’s pace and directness will give the hosts plenty of problems at the back.
