Player to score – Alessia Russo (England v Wales) 13/25

England kept alive their chances of making it out of their group at Euro 2025 with an eye-catching 4-0 win over the Netherlands to bounce back from a damaging defeat to France in their opening fixture. This result means Sarina Wiegman’s team will progress to the quarter-finals with three points against Wales on Sunday.

Alessia Russo had a goal disallowed against France for a marginal offside and will be a threat inside the penalty box against Wales. England will dominate possession in Sunday’s final group game and this could see a lot of crosses and balls played into Russo as the focal point of the Lionesses’ attack.

Over 3.5 total goals – England v Wales (11/20)

While England’s defence of their Euro 2022 title got off to a bad start with defeat to France, their 4-0 win over the Netherlands was proof of the attacking quality in Wiegman’s team. This points to England dominating Wales in their final group game to secure their passage through to the final eight of the tournament.

Wales have conceded seven goals in their first two games at Euro 2025. It will be extremely difficult for Rhian Wilkinson’s team to keep out the likes of Russo, Ella Toone, Chloe Kelly and the rest for 90 minutes. The Lionesses should be aiming to make it out of the group stage in emphatic fashion.

Match to be a draw – Portugal v Belgium (29/10)

Portugal need to beat Belgium, and convincingly, to stand any chance of making the quarter-finals of Euro 2025. Having picked up just one point from their first two games, it might already be too late for Francisco Neto’s team to make it out of Group B with Spain already through and Italy on their way.

Belgium have already been eliminated from the tournament after a 6-2 defeat to Spain. There was no shame in this considering Spain’s quality, but both Belgium and Portugal have struggled for consistent firepower in the final third. This could be a cagey encounter between two under-powered teams.

Both teams to score – Netherlands v France (4/5)

France need just one point to make the next round of Euro 2025 after picking up wins against England and Wales while the Netherlands need a win, and a convincing one, to progress out of the group. This could be a shootout between two of the best attacking outfits in the whole competition.

In wins over England and Wales, France have scored six goals in just two games while the Netherlands put three goals past Wales in their opening fixture. Vivianne Miedema is one of the sharpest finishers in the women’s game and will be a threat against a French defence that hasn’t been truly tested yet.

Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain will face each other in the final of the Club World Cup on Sunday with the Champions League winners the firm favourites. Luis Enrique’s team are a frightening prospect right now after demolishing Real Madrid 4-0 in the semi-finals and brushing aside Bayern Munich in the final eight.

Ousmane Dembele will be a threat in the final third of the pitch with PSG one of the most dangerous attacking outfits in world football. Chelsea will struggle to keep the French giants at arm’s length. This could be another convincing victory for PSG and their team of young superstars.
