Player to score – Griezmann (Netherlands v France)

France are one of only two teams to boast a perfect record in Euro 2024 qualification and Didier Deschamps’ team could secure their place in the tournament with victory over Netherlands on Friday evening having already beaten the Dutch in March.

Antoine Griezmann scored in his last outing for Les Blues and has been in excellent form at club level too, scoring four times in eight La Liga games for Atletico Madrid. Deschamps could select a number of different forwards in his attacking line, but Griezmann is always one of the first names on the France team sheet.

Over 2.5 total goals – Norway v Spain

Spain took a big step towards Euro 2024 qualification by beating Scotland on Thursday night while Norway remain in with a chance of making it to Germany next summer. However, Erling Haaland and co. need three points over Spain on Sunday to keep their campaign alive. The pressure is on.

Norway started their qualification campaign slowly, but have scored two or more goals in each of their last four matches in all competitions. Meanwhile, Spain have also found their scoring touch in front of goal recently, scoring 15 times in their last three games. Sunday’s clash could be an entertaining one.

Match to be a draw – Republic of Ireland v Greece

The Republic of Ireland enter Friday’s home fixture against Greece on a run of just one win from their last five matches. Stephen Kenny’s future as manager is far from uncertain and so a win is required to lift the mood around the Irish national team as their hopes of qualifying for Euro 2024 hang by a thread.

Greece, on the other hand, can move into second place in Group B with a result at the Aviva Stadium. Gus Poyet’s team beat the Republic of Ireland in the reverse fixture in June, but have failed to score in their last two matches. A draw could be on the cards.

Both teams to score – Hungary v Serbia

There will be plenty on the line when Hungary and Serbia meet in a top-of-the-table clash in Euro 2024 qualifying Group G. Both teams enter the match tied on 10 points with Hungary currently edging things with a goal difference advantage of just one goal. The standings couldn’t be much tighter.

Hungary claimed a 2-1 win in the reverse fixture in September and could be considered slightly favourites with Dominik Szoboszlai in exceptional form. However, Serbia have found the back of the net at least once in every qualifier they have played so far while Hungary have drawn a blank just once.

Graham’s Bet Builder – England vs. Italy

England can all but confirm their place at Euro 2024 with a win over Italy on Tuesday evening. Gareth Southgate’s team have already beaten the Azzurri in the return fixture in Rome and are favourites to complete the double over their Euro 2020 conquerors. Indeed, the Three Lions are in good form having won four of their five qualifiers to date.

Jude Bellingham has been in exceptional goalscoring form at club level and found the back of the net in his last outing for England against Scotland too. The Real Madrid midfielder is a good bet to continue his streak against Italy.
