Player to score – Christian Pulisic (Inter v AC Milan)
Christian Pulisic has enjoyed a good start to life in Serie A with the former Chelsea winger scoring two goals in his first three matches for AC Milan. The Rossoneri face Inter in the first Derby della Madonnina of the season at San Siro this Saturday and Pulisic could be a player who makes his mark on the fixture.
AC Milan have scored eight goals in the three league matches they have played this season and while Inter have yet to concede a goal in Serie A this term, Pulisic – along with Rafael Leao – will have the pace and directness to get in behind Simone Inzaghi’s team.
Over 2.5 total goals – Manchester United v Brighton
Manchester United have endured a challenging start to the season and Brighton have the quality to test Erik Ten Hag’s team once more. The Seagulls have scored more goals (12) than any other side in the Premier League and enter Saturday’s match on the back of an impressive 3-1 win over Newcastle United.
There have been over 2.5 total goals scored in nine of Brighton’s last 10 matches in the league with Manchester United conceding seven goals in the four games they have played so far. Saturday’s meeting at Old Trafford is a good bet to produce goals.
Match to be a draw – Bournemouth v Chelsea
Chelsea have just one win from their first four fixtures of the new Premier League season. Indeed, Mauricio Pochettino is struggling to make his mark on the Blues and Sunday’s trip to the Vitality Stadium to face Bournemouth could be another test for them.
Bournemouth picked up a 2-2 draw away to Brentford before the international break and will view this weekend’s fixture against Chelsea as an opportunity after being handed a very difficult fixture list to start the 2023/24 Premier League campaign.
Both teams to score – West Ham v Manchester City
Manchester City are the only team to still boast a perfect record in the Premier League this season, but Saturday’s trip to the London Stadium to face West Ham promises to be their most challenging fixture so far. Indeed, the Hammers will be difficult to topple given how well they have started.
David Moyes’ team have scored in every match they have played this season with impressive wins over Chelsea and Brighton highlighting their strength. City have also scored at least two goals in 16 of their last 19 matches against West Ham in all competitions.

Everton are still looking for their first win of the Premier League season having picked up their first point away to Sheffield United before the international break. The Toffees have drawn a blank in three of the four matches they have played so far and they will find it tough to break through Arsenal’s defence.
Martin Odegaard has scored in two of the four matches he has played for Arsenal this season with the midfielder fresh from scoring for Norway during the international break. He will be a driving force for the Gunners at Goodison Park. He could make the difference for the visitors.
