Player to score – Eberechi Eze (Crystal Palace v Nottingham Forest) 7/4

Eberechi Eze was rewarded for his recent impressive form with a call-up to Gareth Southgate’s England squad this week and the 24-year-old could celebrate by scoring against Nottingham Forest in Crystal Palace’s final league fixture of the season.

Eze has been in excellent goal-scoring form of late, finding the back of the net six times in his last eight appearances for the Eagles. Neither team have anything to play for at this stage of the campaign, but Forest might suffer a greater emotional drop-off after securing survival from relegation last week.

Over 3.5 total goals – Borussia Dortmund v Mainz (4/7)

Three points is all Borussia Dortmund need to become Bundesliga champions for the first time since 2012 and the days of Jurgen Klopp. The Black and Yellows have been in excellent form recently and have scored 14 goals in their last three league matches alone. This is a team that knows how to find the back of the net.

Indeed, Dortmund have scored at least three goals in five of their last six Bundesliga matches and with Mainz on a losing run of four games there’s a good chance Edin Terzic’s team will cross the line in the German title race in emphatic style. There are well-priced to score over 2.5 total goals on Saturday.

Match to be a draw – Leicester City v West Ham (29/10)

Leicester City host West Ham in the final match of the Premier League season this weekend knowing they need a win to have any chance of staying in the division. The Foxes have failed to win 14 of their last 15 league matches, but have drawn three of their last five fixtures.

West Ham have the Europa Conference League final to look forward to and with Premier League survival already secured David Moyes might take the opportunity to rest a number of his key players with that game in mind. This could play into Leicester City’s hands even if it’s not enough to pull them out of the bottom three.

Both teams to score – Atletico Madrid v Real Sociedad (7/10)

Barcelona might have wrapped up the Spanish title a long time ago, but Atletico Madrid are still aiming for second place. This would be a significant achievement for Diego Simeone’s side considering how poorly they fared in the first half of the season. Real Sociedad will be a challenging opponent this weekend.

A win for La Real would see them secure their place in the top four and qualify for next season’s Champions League. Imanol Alguacil’s team have beaten Barcelona and Real Madrid in recent weeks and have already taken points off Atletico Madrid earlier in the season.

Everton’s entire season will come down to this weekend’s home fixture against Bournemouth with Sean Dyche’s team in desperate need of a positive result to stay in the Premier League. The form guide, however, suggests the Toffees will struggle for the result they need, even with Bournemouth metaphorically on the beach.

Dyche’s team have won just one of their last 10 games. There have been over 2.5 total goals in seven of Everton’s last eight matches against Bournemouth in all competitions, suggesting this weekend’s meeting could be stressful for everyone associated with the home team.
