Player to score – Alvarez (Southampton v Man City)

Manchester City are peaking at the right time. Indeed, Pep Guardiola’s side have won six of their last seven Premier League matches and have scored no fewer than 17 times in their last three outings in all competitions. A trip to bottom-of-the-table Southampton presents them with a chance to continue this run.

Julian Alvarez has been particularly impressive for the defending Premier League champions, scoring three goals and assisting another in his last two matches for City. The 2022 World Cup winner looks sharp and is on the same wavelength as the likes of Kevin de Bruyne, Jack Grealish and Riyad Mahrez.

Under 2.5 goals – Lazio v Juventus

Lazio’s unbeaten run of six matches has lifted them to second place in the Serie A table while Juventus are also currently on a six-game unbeaten run (in all competitions). Maurizio Sarri’s side have failed to concede a single goal over this unbeaten run with Lazio’s defence the basis of their recent improvement.

While Juve have steadied the ship in recent weeks, they have failed to score than one goal in a single match in either of their last two outings. Dusan Vlahovic is goal-less in his last three games for the Old Lady and the Serbian striker won’t find it easy against one of the strongest defences in Serie A.

Match to be a draw – Wolves v Chelsea

Frank Lampard will take Chelsea to Molineux for a match against Wolves on Saturday following the 44-year-old’s surprise return to Stamford Bridge on Thursday. There have been under 2.5 goals scored in 14 of Chelsea’s last 17 league games with the Blues drawing a blank against Liverpool on Tuesday night.

Wolves are the joint-lowest scorers in the Premier League this season (23 goals in 29 games) and enter Saturday’s fixture on the back of a draw against Nottingham Forest. The form book doesn’t suggest there will be a lot of goals in this encounter which makes a draw valuable at 12/5.

Both teams to score – Borussia Dortmund v Union Berlin

Borussia Dortmund’s Bundesliga title chances were dealt a blow as they suffered a damaging 4-2 defeat to Bayern Munich last weekend. The Black and Yellows were also dumped out of the DBP Pokal by RB Leipzig during the week and enter this home match against Union Berlin with their confidence bruised.

Dortmund have scored two or more goals in 11 of their last 12 Bundesliga matches while Union Berlin have found the back of the net five times in their last two league games. The Westfalenstadion could be witness to a whirlwind of a match this weekend with Union Berlin a strong visiting side.

Graham’s Bet Builder | Liverpool v Arsenal

Arsenal have won their last seven Premier League matches in-a-row, but face a challenge against Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday. The Reds have scored over 1.5 goals in their last seven home matches against the Gunners and are fourth in the league table for home form this season – they are better in front of their own fans.

Mikel Arteta’s team have had over 3.5 corners in each of their last seven matches. The North London outfit have also scored over 1.5 goals in their last five matches and look strong in the attacking third now that Gabriel Jesus is fit again.
