2.40pm Kempton
La Pinsonniere
She ran a bit below expectations on her return in heavy ground at Warwick, but that was in Listed company and this better ground will suit her. I think she will go well here off a mark of 130 with conditions to suit.
3.18pm Kempton
Califet En Vol
He ran well enough on all his three starts at Cheltenham but a return to this easier track, on which he is two from two, really suited him last time. He went up 5lb for that win and hopefully that will be manageable. He should go well.
3.53pm Kempton
Soomaroy
I liked him when he won at Hereford last time, and the form of that race has worked out well. He has had a short break since but hopefully he will be fit and firing here, and he can step forward again, with the step up to 2m5f suiting this winning ex-pointer. He looks a decent prospect.
5.03pm Kempton
Prince Rupert
He is a very well-bred Flat horse, by Golden Horn out of a 105-rated mare, so let’s hope that stands him in good stead here. We like him at home but the racecourse will tell us more.
