SUNDAY – WINDSOR
12:50
Fresh Kicks (James Bowen)
Three miles at Ascot last time may have been a stretch too far so he’s dropping back in trip and is still very unexposed. He’s a good moving horse who jumps well and will make a nice chaser in the future but there is still unfinished business over hurdles and he handles soft ground well.
1:20
Jeriko Du Reponet (Nico De Boinville)
He’s had two runs over fences this season and the step back up to three miles will suit well. This is a decent novice but Jeriko is a smart animal on his day and if he can get into a rhythm and enjoy himself I wouldn’t be surprised to see him go close.
2:25
Go To War (Nico De Boinville)
He’s had a couple of runs over fences this season without showing a great deal so we’re switching back to hurdles with the aim of getting his confidence back. He has won over shorter, but three miles could end up his trip, and he appears to be in good form at home.
FAKENHAM
1:00
Lelantos (Robbie Dunne)
He was very good at Huntingdon last time and looked to win with a bit up his sleeve. The Handicapper has put him back up a few pounds, but he’s in good heart at present and Robbie retains the ride.
