Jeriko Du Reponet
This is clearly a very competitive Grade 2 novices’ chase but we are marginally the best in at these weights, on hurdling form at least. A very smart and progressive handicap hurdler last season, signing off with a great win at Punchestown, he has resumed his chasing campaign this term and is getting better with experience. He will need to post a clear career-best over fences to be winning this but let’s hope he can continue to head in the right direction in this sphere.

Go To War
He clearly hasn’t excelled in two chase starts this season but he returns to hurdles on a very good mark, as he has been dropped in both codes for that brace of chase starts. He is 4lb lower than when a good third over hurdles at Newbury last March, so he is weighted to make his presence felt. However, he clearly has to bounce back to form and he does have his 3m stamina to prove, too.
