SANDOWN

Crazierthandaisy (Nico De Boinville)

I was pleased with her at Warwick last time, a track she has won twice at, but she stays well so will like this course and while she’s 5lbs higher in this, I still think she’s capable of making her presence felt off a mark of 115, and she’ll handle the ground well.

Lulamba (Nico De Boinville)

He did what we hoped he’d do on Chase debut at Exeter, albeit they missed out quite a few fences, but this race was the target straight away and I think he’s come on a lot for his first run.

There are only four runners, but they are no slouches and this is obviously a bigger test, but we’ve always thought a great deal of him and I’m looking forward to seeing what we’ve got.

Jonbon (Nico De Boinville)

The ground on the chase course isn’t as soft as the hurdles so I don’t have any worries on that score and he has come on a bundle from the Shloer. We all know how much he loves this track, but I feel two miles is probably on the sharp side for him nowadays so we all discussed it and have decided to are put a set of cheek pieces on which may help him travel a little sweeter.

He has never finished out of the first two and owes us nothing so I’m looking forward to what should be a great race!

AINTREE

Excello (James Bowen)

He ran a fantastic race in the Grand Sefton last time where he really seemed to enjoy himself so this race very quickly became his next objective. We’re going back up in trip, but he stays well and will like the ground.

CHEPSTOW

Bective Abbey (Freddie Gordon)

I thought he ran very well over hurdles at Cheltenham last time and that will have put him spot on for this. He switches to fences here but jumps very well and I don’t think this is the most competitive race.
