CHELTENHAM

Ideal Des Bordes (Daniel Williams)
He is due to run in this, but I will be having a good look at the ground because he does not want it like a slog. I thought he ran a nice race on his comeback, and I’d like to think he has come on for that. It’s the same track, same distance, and same jockey, and he is a very good mover, so as long as the ground is suitable, I’d be hopeful of a bold show.

Holloway Queen (Nico de Boinville)
I’d like to go Novice Chasing with her, but I think a nice run over hurdles will do her good, and this doesn’t look the worse race to start in. It’s for last year’s Novices’ and she won’t have any issues with the ground because she won on very soft at Lingfield before winning a Listed race on Heavy at Haydock. Her work is to a good standard, and she has a very bright future.

Eremenko (Nico de Boinville)
She won very nicely at Southwell, but there is quite a difference between a Southwell Bumper and a Listed Cheltenham Bumper, so this is undoubtedly a bigger test for her, but she is a nice mare and a half-sister to Doddiethegreat, who has already done so well for us. This mare is quite a lot quicker than him and a little bit smaller but is very sweet in her work, albeit she can be quite a madam in her stable, and we’ll know a lot more about her after this.
