THE Tuesday of Royal Ascot is seen by many as the best day, with the three Group 1s and the Coventry Stakes Group 2 starting off a wonderful five days of racing in great style.
I’m looking forward to being at Royal Ascot on Tuesday.
Enjoy whether at Royal Ascot or watching all the races #athome on ITV Racing.
Cheers

2.30 Royal Ascot – Queen Anne Stakes Group 1 (1m)
Rosallion (nap) for Unibet Ambassador Richard Hannon has a strong chance of securing his fourth Group 1 and second at Royal Ascot after winning the St James’s Palace Stakes at this meeting in 2024.
Rosallion was then not seen until the Group 1 Lockinge at Newbury last month, when many felt he could win even with an eleven-month break; however, he finished third to Lead Artist after looking on the day that he just needed the run, as he had done last season when second to Notable Speech in the 2000 Guineas.
He will have come on plenty for that, has the quick ground he likes, is proven at Ascot, and this imposing individual showed at Newbury that he retains all his enthusiasm, whilst his class will come to the fore on his return to Royal Ascot over his ideal trip.
3.40 Royal Ascot – King Charles III Stakes Group 1 (5f)
Night Raider is having his first start over five furlongs, and there is every reason to think he will be suited by this distance given his sire, Dark Angel, has a great record with sprinters.
This is admittedly the acid test for Night Raider, as he looked all speed when third to Inisherin at York in the Clipper Stakes at the Dante meeting over six furlongs when sent off in front trying to do too much too soon and then fading in the final furlong.
A really useful juvenile, he has built his reputation on the all-weather, as he showed at Newcastle last November when thrashing the likes of Annaf and the rest of a classy field in a Listed race when making all.
His official rating on the all-weather is 111 and on turf 105, but I think this high-class performer can match his all-weather form on this quick ground over the minimum trip.
4.20 Royal Ascot – St James’s Palace Stakes Group 1 (1m)
Ruling Court may have missed the Derby because of the soft ground, and there were also some doubts about him getting the Epsom trip so he can make amends here on quick ground over an ideal distance.
He can reconfirm his superiority over Field Of Gold after showing an excellent turn of foot in the 2000 Guineas at Newmarket, and his tremendous speed will see him win another Group 1.

Divine Comedy was second in this race last year when marked up in my Unibet blog off a mark of 97 and runs here this time with a mark of 99. The mare was disappointing at Chester last time out where that run can be ignored, after finishing third at Ascot on her penultimate start, which followed up a good seasonal debut when beaten a short head at Nottingham by Al Qareem, who ran a stormer to win at York on Saturday.
This seven-year-old would not be out of place in taking the Ascot Stakes, as two seven-year-olds have won in the last five years, as has an eight-year-old.
Divine Comedy is thoroughly genuine, will like the conditions, and has strong each way claims.
6.10 Royal Ascot – Copper Horse Stakes Handicap (1m 6f)
Champagne Prince is an all-weather and fast-ground specialist on the turf. This colt was disappointing on his last appearance back in February in the Winter Derby at Southwell, having won his last two starts when beating the smart Eydon on both occasions at Kempton and Southwell, respectively.
On his one turf start at Ascot on good to firm last season, he just lost out by a neck to Going Remote, and this intriguing contender could easily outrun his odds on this quick ground.
