I’M delighted to be back for another season with Unibet, and hopefully you’ll enjoy reading my blogs and back plenty of winners!
The horses are all in good shape, particularly Rosallion, who looks a million dollars, and he’ll head straight to Newbury for the Lockinge.
Haatem is also doing great, and he will go to Sandown for the G2 Mile there on the 25th April.
Persica is really well and I’m looking at running him in the Earl Of Sefton at Newmarket on 15th April.
DONCASTER
1:15
Norman’s Cay (David Egan)
He goes nicely, but it might just happen a bit quick for him, and he might want six furlongs in time, but he’s pretty forward in his coat and knows exactly what he’s doing so hopefully he’ll run well. He’s definitely no Persian Force but that won’t stop him being a very nice horse and I think he’ll run well.
3:00
Witch Hunter (Sean Levey)
Everybody knows about Witch Hunter and he’s already run a couple of good races this year, notably at Wolverhampton last time. He hasn’t won since the G2 Hungerford Stakes in 2023 but has posted some very good efforts in defeat and is extremely consistent. He would’ve had to carry top weight in the Lincoln, which is why we opted for this Listed race instead, and he’s got fitness on his side, which counts for plenty at this time of the year.
KEMPTON
5:00
Aramram (Alec Voikhansky)
He’s a very likeable colt who has a great attitude, and six furlongs appears to be his trip. The handicapper has him right where he wants, but Alec’s 3lbs claim brings his weight down a little bit and he put in a nice piece of work on Tuesday.
SUNDAY
We’ve got a few runners at Doncaster on Sunday, including Meblesh who makes his debut in the 3:05. He was in training last year but we gave him plenty of time to grow and fill into his frame, which he has, and he works well. Hopefully he’ll run a nice race. Circe is in excellent form and I fancy her to go very close in the 4:50.
