It looks like being pretty testing ground at Newbury but he handles soft well. He was obviously a little disappointing here in December and the handicapper has left him on the same mark, but we think he is much better than that. He wore a tongue-tie when winning for Fergal [O’Brien] and we try that here.

Ace Artist

This race has cut up a bit, which is obviously good news for us. As I have pointed out before here, I have a good record when riding for the stable, and she is a half-sister to two decent sorts in Our Jester and Urban Artist. In fact, I won a bumper on both of those, so let’s hope we can uphold the family honour and tradition here.
