Bhaloo
He clearly has to bounce back from two moderate efforts here, as well as going up in grade, but the step down in trip will suit, as may the prospect of better ground. He won well for me at Ascot in November; he has won here over hurdles, and the less rain, the better for his chances. But he clearly has questions to answer here against good horses.

Hyland
He has really thrived over fences, and he ran his best race yet when second to The Jukebox Man here in the Grade 1 Kauto Star here last time. This will be tough, giving away weight to all bar one, but his mark of 147 reflects the strength of his latest effort, so we’d obviously be hopeful of a good run.

He was also in the Pendil at the five-day stage, but we have decided to come here. Hopefully he will be competitive off a mark of 125 after a good second over 3m here last time, and the step down in trip should be okay, but this looks a very strong handicap to me. He clearly has his chance, though.
