very good form

SANDOWN

Noble Park (Nico de Boinville)

He unseated at the first last time which was obviously quite disappointing but he’s schooled well since so hopefully that was just a blip. The idea is to go chasing and that is probably where he’ll end up once handicapped.

Old Time Chaser (Nico de Boinville)

He is something of an enigma because he works very well at home but hasn’t transferred much of what we see at home, onto the racecourse. I’m not quite sure what his trip is yet but he ran well enough over this distance at Windsor last time so we’re giving it another shot and he handled soft ground in his Point to Point.

Jango Baie (Nico de Boinville)

We are obviously quite pleased that connections have decided to run Impaire Et Passe at the Willie Mullins Racing Festival but that doesn’t detract from the quality of this race, because it’s an extremely competitive affair.

Jango Baie is 5lbs better off at the weights with Handstands on their running in the Sidney Banks at Huntingdon, when he was second, beaten 1 ½ lengths, but that’s was a year ago, and over hurdles, so there is probably nothing between them.

I thought Kalif De Berlais was impressive at Cheltenham and that form has worked out well, subsequently.

Our horse has entries in the Arkle and Brown Advisory and we’ll see what happens here before we even consider looking at Cheltenham, but he’s in very good form and I am extremely happy with him coming into this.
