Noble Park
We’d like to think he is better than he has shown so far. This race has cut up a fair bit, which helps, but clearly he needs to improve a lot to get into the mix here.
Old Time Chaser
He ran okay at Windsor last time and he was eased a bit in the weights for it, so let’s hope he finds this 2m4f test around here in heavy ground to his liking and he can improve for it.
Jango Baie
With the Irish staying at home, notably Impaire Et Passe, our job has been made a bit easier, but by no mean easy. Handstands, Kalif du Berlais and Mark Of Gold present us with very stiff competition. A Grade 1 winner over hurdles, we were obviously delighted with Jango Baie’s chasing debut at Cheltenham, and the merit of that form was underlined by the runner-up Springwell Bay’s wide-margin win next time. The trip and ground are fine, and we are obviously hopeful of a very big run.
