Quantock Hills
I think we all have our work cut out trying to beat East India Dock and there are plenty of other interesting prospects in here too, but Quantock Hills showed much improved form to dead-heat with Teriferma here last time and hopefully he can progress again.
Chantry House
We were expecting him to run a good race after an opening spin over hurdles here last time, but it is fair to say that he rather surprised us by winning – and winning so impressively, too. Obviously, he steps back up in grade here and he has his work cut out against the likes of L’Homme Presse and Gentlesmangame, but we know he loves this place, so let’s see how he goes.
Constitution Hill
Obviously, our task has been made easier with Lossiemouth not being confirmed for this race, but we can only control what we do, and if anyone takes any race lightly then they are asking for trouble. So there is no complacency here. Constitution Hill did what we hoped he would do in the Christmas Hurdle, after his high-profile lead-up into the race, and we think he will be sharper and better for the run. But, like I said, we are taking nothing for granted.
