She clearly didn’t run anywhere near her best here last month but she returns to handicaps on a fair mark if she can reproduce her good winning form from around this time last season.

This is another great match-up, though Rubaud certainly shouldn’t be dismissed here on his chasing debut. The three-time Grade 1 winner Ballyburn will be a formidable opponent though after getting his chasing career off to a very good start at Punchestown. Of course, we haven’t jumped a fence in public yet but he schooled with aplomb at home before we re-routed him to win the Fighting Fifth. I’m excited to see what he can do in this sphere; he’s a horse of huge potential.

He was still in there pitching when unfortunately falling three out at Cheltenham last time, so here is hoping for better luck here. What I said about him before that run holds true, and that is we think a mark of 130 is fair for him on what he shows us at home. We thought a lot of him last season after his Newbury win.
