CHELTENHAM

12:40

Peaky Boy (Nico de Boinville)

He’s unbeaten at Cheltenham and the further he went went the better he went last time, so he’s definitely ready for a step up in trip and, already being a Point to Point winner, this test should suit him well. Hillcrest put up a very good comeback run, therefore will be much sharper, and there are a few others with plenty of experience so he has to continue improving, especially with a 7lbs rise to contend with, but we’ve always thought a great deal of him and we will obviously know a lot more after this.

Joyeuse (Nico de Boinville)

She ran very well in what, I think, was a very good race at Ascot last time, and is more than ready for a step up to two and a half. The Handicapper has kept her on 119 and there is no doubt she has to improve to trouble the likes of Take No Chances and Wodhooh, but she’s in good shape, is upwardly mobile and will have come on for her first run.
