Fantastic Lady (Nico de Boinville)
She ran another great race in the Topham, which was only two weeks ago, but she appears to have come out of it in great shape so we’re going to roll the dice again and she was third in this last year. It’s obviously a very good race, and she’ll do well to win, but the trip suits and she likes good ground, so comes into it with an each way chance on her best form.

Jonbon (Nico de Boinville)
The match we have been waiting for has finally arrived and we are all very much looking forward to it. We did the Aintree/Sandown double twelve months ago, but he did have an easier race at Aintree last year than this, so that has to be taken into consideration. Nico felt that two and a half was about as far as he’d like to go a this stage so the drop back in trip is an obvious plus and he’s been ticking along nicely at home. It is a fantastic race and I hope that we can come out on top!

Call Me Lord (James Bowen)
We all know how much he loves this track and while he’s now reaching the twilight stage of his career, he still retains plenty of ability and this race could cut up. I’m not worried about the drop back in trip and it would be wonderful if he could run another big race.

Persian Time (Nico de Boinville)
He only ran last week at Ayr, but the good ground and step back up in trip is very much the crux of this and he seems absolutely fine at home. He jumps and travels strongly and I think he’ll run very well with much more in his favour than there was at Ayr on Saturday.

Will Carver (Nico de Boinville)
He was disappointing at Kempton on Boxing Day, where he just found the ground unsuitable, but the better surface here will see him in a much better light and he schooled well in front of many of his owners earlier this week. He arrives here a fresh horse and we’ve tinkered with his wind, therefore I’m optimistic of his chance.
