Player to score – Olivier Giroud (France v Germany)

Olivier Giroud is France’s all-time top scorer with 56 goals to his name and he will fancy his chances of adding to his tally against Germany in this weekend’s international friendly. With Antoine Griezmann unavailable through injury, Giroud is expected to start alongside Kylian Mbappe in the final third for Les Bleus.

Julian Nagelsmann is expected to experiment with his team, calling up no fewer than six players for the first time for this international window, and so it’s difficult to predict who could line up for Germany. However, the Euro 2024 hosts have failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their last 10 games. Giroud will have opportunities.

Over 2.5 total goals – Netherlands v Scotland

Steve Clarke’s Scotland will be in Amsterdam on Friday night to face the Netherlands as both teams ramp up their preparations for Euro 2024. The Dutch have won their last three matches in-a-row while Scotland are without a win in their last five games – although a challenging run of fixtures was certainly a factor in this.

The Netherlands have conceded at least one goal in nine of their last 10 matches while Scotland have scored five goals in their last two outings and have in-form goalscorers in the form of Scott McTominay and John McGinn. The away side might ultimately suffer defeat, but there’s a good chance they will find the net

Match to be a draw – Denmark v Switzerland

The omens are good for Denmark to register a positive result against Switzerland in this weekend’s international friendly between the two countries. Indeed, Denmark won their last meeting with the Swiss in 2019 and haven’t lost to them in any encounter dating all the way back to 1984.

Switzerland, meanwhile, have lost just one of their last 10 matches in all competitions. They have drawn five of their last seven games and have the structure and talent to hold their own against Denmark. Both teams are preparing for Euro 2024 and might ultimately settle for a draw that keeps them moving forward.

Both teams to score – Hungary v Turkey

Hungary enter Friday’s friendly against Turkey on an unbeaten run of 12 matches in all competitions. They have found the back of the net in each of their last seven outings and have registered seven goals in their last three games. Turkey, meanwhile, have kept a clean sheet in just one of their last seven away matches.

Both teams are preparing for Euro 2024 this summer and are at their best when they are playing on the front foot. Hungary have scored over 2.5 goals in five of their last six games in all competitions and are favourites to win on Friday, but both teams are a good bet to find the net.

Graham’s Bet Builder | England vs. Brazil

Friendlies are difficult to predict. England and Brazil are both likely to experiment with their lineups at Wembley on Saturday night with the former preparing for Euro 2024 and the latter getting ready for the 2024 Copa America. There are some players, however, who are expected to feature in this fixture.

Marcus Rashford enters Saturday’s match against Brazil having scored for Manchester United in their FA Cup win over Liverpool. The left-sided forward has started England’s last two home matches and will feature against Brazil who are struggling for consistent form at the moment and are missing some key players.
