KEMPTON

Sir Gino (Nico De Boinville)

I see he is already quite prominent in the betting for the Triumph Hurdle but that is a long, long way away and he hasn’t even jumped a Hurdle in public in England yet! That said, he has been doing everything right at home and is hopefully an exciting juvenile prospect.

Tweed Skirt (Nico De Boinville)

I wouldn’t want any rain over night for her, which is why I pulled her out of Newbury last week, because she’s a good moving mare who wouldn’t want it like a bog. I think she’ll stay the trip, and it won’t be long before she heads off to stud, so it would be great if she could get her head in front before going off to have little tweed skirts!

WETHERBY

Western Harmony (Mr Ben Sutton)

The ground is a concern for him, and I see there is quite a lot of rain forecast up there, which isn’t ideal. He’s a Irish Point to Point winner who cost a few quid at Doncaster in May and he could end up a nice fun horse for his owners.
