I see he is one of the market leaders for the Triumph Hurdle but let’s get him out on the track for us first before we get ahead of ourselves. We certainly like what we have seen of him at home, and I also note that the horse he beat on his sole start in France at Auteuil back in April, Salvator Mundi, is now with Willie Mullins.  Here is hoping that French form is smart, and that he can show us plenty to build on here.

He clearly hasn’t been in the best of form so far this season but he has at least come down to a mark of 146, and that is 1lb lower than when winning at Ayr in April, just three starts ago. 2m on decent ground are his optimum conditions too, so he certainly has a chance if he can bounce back to form. Hopefully, the first-time hood will help, too.

She was still in with every chance when falling a fair way out in a mares’ Listed race at Market Rasen , so that told us little. A mark of 133 looks okay on her winning form last season, including here, and she certainly has her chance.
