Player to score – Dominic Solanke (Sheff United v Bournemouth)
Dominic Solanke scored twice in a 2-0 win for Bournemouth over Newcastle United before the international break, bringing his tally for the season to six goals in 12 Premier League games. The 26-year-old is in good form and surely fancies his chances of finding the net again this weekend.
Sheffield United have conceded more goals (31) than any other team in the Premier League this season. The Blades have an extremely leaky defence and they host Bournemouth on Saturday at the wrong time with Andoni Ireola’s team starting to build some momentum after a bad start to the campaign.
Under 2.5 total goals – Juventus v Inter
The top two in Serie A meet on Sunday with Juventus at home to Inter. There’s just two points between the two rivals and the outcome of this weekend’s match could have a big bearing on this season’s Scudetto race.
Juventus have kept a clean sheet in six of their last seven league matches and have scored over 1.5 goals in just two of those games. Inter have also kept a clean sheet in three of their last four matches, hinting that this weekend’s clash could be decided by a single goal or two.
Match to be a draw – Newcastle United v Chelsea
Chelsea might have turned a corner. Indeed, the Blues were impressive in their last two matches (against Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City) before the international break with Mauricio Pochettino’s team only suffering one defeat in their last eight matches in all competitions. They have been harder to beat.
Newcastle United, on the other hand, enter this fixture on the back of successive defeats. However, the Magpies’ home form is still strong. Eddie Howe’s team ended Arsenal’s unbeaten run in their last Premier League match at St James’ Park.
Both teams to score – Tottenham Hotspur v Aston Villa
Injuries to a number of key players have knocked Tottenham Hotspur out of their stride. The absence of James Maddison, Micky van de Ven, Yves Bissouma and Cristian Romero means Ange Postecoglou’s team will be down to their bare bones for Sunday’s game against an in-form Aston Villa.
Villa have scored 16 goals in their last six games in all competitions and will pose a threat to Tottenham on the counter attack through the likes of Leon Bailey, Moussa Diaby and Ollie Watkins. This could be a bad tactical match-up for the North London side.

Graham’s Bet Builder – Man City vs. Liverpool
This weekend’s marquee match takes place on Saturday lunchtime with Manchester City hosting Liverpool in a top-of-the-table clash in the Premier League. Both teams have scored in the last three meetings between City and Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium and this could be another entertaining encounter.
City have won the first half of their last seven home matches and have also won 15 of their last 16 home matches. Meanwhile, Mohamed Salah has found the back of the net eight times in his last eight appearances for Liverpool.
