Her Festival run aside, she has clearly done everything asked of her and she did it very well for me at Cheltenham last time. This seems a much more competitive handicap and she is 7lb higher, but I’d be hopeful of another big run.

Fantastic Lady

Obviously, we all have our work cut out if Hewick runs to form, but we at least get weight all round and she clearly comes here in great nick after her Topham second. I think she is primed to run another big race in fact, even stepping up in grade.

3.25pm Sandown

Fable

She clearly did not run her race when we last saw her at Fontwell in February but her early Bangor defeat of Effernock Fizz reads really well and she is fairly treated off a mark of 128 on that effort. She has her chance in a competitive race.

4.00pm Sandown

Theatre Glory

She has a similar profile to Fantastic Lady, in that she has a bit to find on the ratings but gets a handy bit of weight off all of her rivals, and her Warwick win and her Mares’ Hurdle sixth were pretty good efforts. Again, I would like to think she will give a very good account of herself.
