Player to score – Eddie Nketiah (Manchester City v Arsenal) – 5/2
Arsenal are on a seven-game unbeaten run and will face their closest rivals for the Premier League title in the form of Manchester City on Friday in the FA Cup fourth round. This will be the first time the two sides have met this season and there’s a great deal of anticipation ahead of the clash at the Etihad Stadium.
Eddie Nketiah has scored seven goals in his last seven games and has filled the void left by the injured Gabriel Jesus following the restart. Manchester City have kept just two clean sheets in their last six home matches meaning it is reasonable to assume Arsenal will create opportunities to find the back of the net.
Player to be carded – Alexis Mac Allister (Brighton v Liverpool)
Brighton have good reason to be confident ahead of their FA Cup fourth round tie against Liverpool given it was only two weeks ago that Roberto Di Zerbi’s team dismantled the Reds in the Premier League. Indeed, the Seagulls are flying high at the moment and could even be considered favourites to beat Liverpool this weekend.
Di Zerbi’s approach requires his players to be active in their counter-pressing and that comes with an occupational hazard. No Brighton player has received more yellow cards (five) this season than Alexis Mac Allister, making the 2022 World Cup winner a good bet to enter the book after an equally combative opponent.
Match to be a draw – Bayer Leverkusen v Borussia Dortmund (3/1)
The Bundesliga season finally resumed last weekend with Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund set to face each other on Sunday. Leverkusen enter the fixture on the back of victories over Bochum and Borussia Monchengladbach while Dortmund are also in good form after beating Augsburg and Mainz.
Both teams have goals in them with Dortmund particularly dangerous in the attacking third of the pitch. This match could swing back and forth over the course of 90 minutes, but Leverkusen and Dortmund appear well-matched. A draw looks to be on the cards – both teams would likely accept a share of the spoils.
Both teams to score – Wrexham v Sheffield United (8/11)
If there is a shock result to be had in this weekend’s FA Cup fourth round, it could come at the Racecourse Ground where Wrexham will host Sheffield United. The Welsh side knocked out Championship side Coventry City in the third round and are certainly strong enough to hurt the Blades on Sunday.
Going back to the third round win over Coventry, Wrexham have found the back of the net 14 times in their last five matches while Sheffield United have also demonstrated their cutting edge in front of goal in wins over Coventry and Stoke City. Even if Wrexham pull off a shock, both teams are likely to score.

Manchester United are back in action this weekend as they host Reading in the fourth round of the FA Cup. Erik Ten Hag’s team returned to winning ways against Nottingham Forest on Wednesday and will be strong favourites to see off the Championship visitors to Old Trafford on Saturday night.
Wout Weghorst scored his first United goal against Forest and is expected to start against Reading too. Ten Hag’s team are starting to realise their potential as an attacking outfit having scored three or more goals in five of their last seven matches at home. Their possession could also translate into corner kicks.
