I obviously know the horse very well from his time with us at Seven Barrows and he was a very fair horse on his day, not least when he won easily here in heavy ground a couple of years ago. He had actually won the juvenile hurdle at this meeting beforehand I think too, so he clearly handles the track and ground well. He was rated as high as 137 for us – off which he actually started favourite for the Boodles – but he is now down to 126 after his absence and on his first start for Polly, so he clearly has a fair chance at the weights if straight enough after his long break. He is only seven, too.
