He showed promise in his bumper but he has been well beaten in his two hurdling starts to date. A lot more will obviously be required here but hopefully there is more to come.

He looked and travelled like the winner for most of the race on his comeback run at Newbury but weakened out of it after the last. Hopefully, it was just fitness that found him out, though this slightly shorter trip may help, as we think he is a very decent prospect who should be capable of going close here.

He was well beaten in the end on his reappearance at Newbury but he shaped much better than the bare form suggests and he got dropped 2lb for it. Trip and ground are fine and he looks to be on a decent mark.

Mister Coffey

Hopefully, it will be fourth time lucky and we get to see him here! Conditions look good for him as it stands and he is just 3lb higher than his second in the Kim Muir. I’d expect him to go well here.
