QATAR GOODWOOD FESTIVAL – THURSDAY
2:25 G2 Richmond Stakes
Swift Asset (Ryan Moore)
He ran a great race in the Super Sprint despite being drawn on the wrong side so I think that can be marked up and a sharp six furlongs around here should be right up his street. We’ve always liked him and he has a serious chance in this.
3:35 G1 Nassau Stakes
Aristia (Sean Levey)
It’s a big ask but she’s a talented filly who is moving really well at the moment because sometimes she can be quite ‘shuffly’. Her owners are keen to give it a shot, and why not, Nashwa will be hard to beat but there’s good place money on offer and hopefully she can be good enough to pick up some of it.
4:10 Nursery
Seductive Power (Sean Levey)
He’s got a lovely pedigree, from the family of Finsceal Bea and Frozen Power so he’s definitely bred to be winning races and duly obliged in style at Newbury last time. He’s now into Handicap Company off a mark of 84, which looks fair, and the step up to seven furlongs could hopefully bring out even more improvement. He’s a nice colt and will go close from a decent draw.
Unibet’s 15 To Go offer is available on this race
Dayyan (Sam Hitchcott)
He ran a cracker on his Handicap debut at Ascot last time over six and finished his race really well so the step up to seven is a plus and he’s getting better with every run. I would be disappointed if he’s not able to finish in the money.

5:20 Maiden Fillies’
Oriental Dancer (Sean Levey)
She’s a beautiful Dubawi filly out of a half sister to Elusive Wave who won the French Guineas and she’s done everything nicely at home. She’ll come on for the run but is ready to go and I wouldn’t expect her to be falling out of the back of the TV.
