He won first time out last season and he was very good when winning at Doncaster in September, He is probably still fairly treated here off a 5lb higher mark than that, he can handle ease in the ground, and this trip should suit him, for all he ran below par over 1m4f on his final start at Newmarket. If he is straight enough, he has a decent each-way chance.

Second Slip

He shaped very well when a close third over 1m2f at Newcastle on his return. I rode the winner that day and he has followed up in style since, so I think Second Slip is still on a fair mark despite being raised 2lb for that defeat. The step up in trip is likely to suit too.
