Polish
He didn’t quite run up to his best in the Lanzarote last time but he has been dropped 1lb for it and he would certainly have an each-way chance on his Cheltenham form in the autumn, races in which he would have finished closer but for a couple of mistakes. I can see him going okay. In fact, I think he will run very well, going back up in trip.

He looks a great ride to pick up. He mixed it in good company last season and has improved with each start in this campaign, finishing second in the Tolworth last time. He went up 6lb for that but I think a mark of 136 still gives him a fair chance. He is a lightly-raced improver, which is what you often need in this race.

Trip and ground look ideal, and he ran a decent race here last time when third to a couple of improvers. The fourth came out and won impressively at Sandown on Thursday, so hopefully he can be competitive here once again. In fact, being honest, I think he will go very close.
