I thought he shaped well for me on his return at Aintree but he just didn’t fire at Cheltenham last time for some reason. It could have been the track I guess but, whatever the reason, he has at least been eased a bit in the weights as a result. The last time he ran over hurdles he finished a good second at Haydock last year and he is 4lb lower here, so he definitely has a chance if the switch from fences perks him up a bit, though he does meet some bang in-form opposition here. Trip and ground are fine.
