LOVE is a cut above these of course in the Yorkshire Oaks and you can’t see this wonderful filly, who has looked so dominate in the 1,000 Guineas and particularly the Oaks being beaten. She was napped both times in my Unibet blog and Love showed all her qualities at Epsom in terms of temperament pre-race and then just looked so supreme in the way she had stepped up from the 1,000 Guineas. Love will only see her price shorten for the Arc after today.

Cheers

2.15 York Yearling Stakes (6f)

Tinochio was a ready winner in soft ground at Hamilton and then finished off very well for fourth in the Super Sprint (form working out) at Newbury weaving his way through the field from what was an impossible position. The step up to six furlongs looks sure to suit.

2.45 York Heritage Handicap (1m)

Top Rank (nap) cruised home at Thirsk like a Group horse on his one start this season, winning as easily as you like. The Handicapper gives him another 12lb but might be even better with some cut and he looked much better than a handicapper. He is four from four career starts and this lightly raced type can retain his 100% record.

Unibet 3/1 win

Sir Busker has been a regular in my Unibet blog and you have to completely ignore his last start at Goodwood where he barely came off the bridle when continuingly meeting trouble with Oisin Murphy having to accept there was nowhere to go. Previously, he had been a very good second swerving across the course at Newmarket, having won the Silver Royal Hunt Cup at Royal Ascot. With a clear run this talented performer will be right in the mix and importantly he is ground versatile.

3.15 York Yorkshire Oaks Group 1 (1m 4f)

Frankly Darling (each way) was highly fancied by some to beat Love in the Oaks after her very smart Ribblesdale victory, however that was not going to happen and this was compounded by the fact she failed to handle Epsom. On a track like York with the rain continuing to fall she can bounce back for a place.

Unibet 10/1 each way

4.20 York Nursery (7f)

Rhoscolyn for Charles Hills was very impressive when making all at Haydock last time, never looking in danger. Up 8lb and Ryan Moore booked, surely more to come if handling slower ground.

Unibet 15/2 each way

4.50 York Fillies’ Handicap (7f)

Anna Nerium for Unibet Ambassador Richard Hannon could simply outclass the rest of the field. This is a 0-105 with Anna Nerium rated 104, second in Dancing Vega is 91 and the rest below 90. Last time Anna Nerium raced in a handicap was in 2018, when winning the European Free at Newmarket. She ran well on her penultimate start when fifth at 40/1 to One Master at Goodwood and then was runner up to Happy Power at Salisbury.
