The Belarusian Premier League is one of the only leagues in world football unrestricted by the Coronavirus outbreak. With other European leagues having now ended the 2019/20 season, and no clear timescale for the return of the Premier League, who knows, we may all end up Torpedo Zhodino or BATE Borisov supporters before too long. Watch every Belarusian Premier League game live with Unibet TV.

FC Slutsk vs Energetik BGU | Friday May 8, 15:00 GMT

Seven games into the season, FC Slutsk have dropped just five points and deservedly take their place at the top of the table. Their last nine league game brought 19 goals – as many as Slutsk managed in their previous 22.

Fourth-placed Enegertik have made a fine start too – last week's 2-0 victory at Smolevichi means they're already just one clean sheet behind last year's total of four. However, that win snapped a run of three straight defeats in which Energetik themselves failed to score. They're also without a win in four meetings with Slutsk – go with the form here, back a home win.

Match Odds: FC Slutsk (57/50) Draw (11/5) Energetik BGU (21/10
Tip: FC Slutsk to win to nil (13/5)
Correct score: FC Slutsk 2-0 Energetik BGU (9/1)

Gorodeya vs FC Minsk | Friday May 8, 17:00 GMT

FC Minsk have the worst defensive record in the Belarusian Premier League so far this season. Seven games, 15 goals conceded, including five last week at home to Torpedo. Minsk's defensive vulnerability is clear, but can the Gorodeya take advantage? Well, probably not.

The hosts have scored just four goals in seven league games in this campaign. They've earned a total of 10 points from those goals, and that's good going, but for all Minsk's defensive issues, their scoring prowess could give them an edge here. Level with BATE Borisov on 11 goals, only table-topping FC Slutsk have so far outscored them. A 3-1 at Slavia in their last outing away from home underlines their threat.

Gorodeya's clinical efficiency versus FC Minsk's dramatic inconsistency: take your pick, I fancy the visitors to take more of their chances.

Match Odds: Gorodeya (33/20) Draw (2/1) FC Minsk (31/20
Tip: Both teams to score (EVS)
Correct score: Gorodeya 1-2 FC Minsk (9/1)

Slavia Mozyr vs Torpedo Belaz Zhodino | Saturday May 9, 13:00 GMT

The head-to-head record makes from grim reading for Slavia Mozyr. In their last seven league meetings with Torpedo Zhodino, they've managed to avoid defeat just once, scoring only three goals, and conceding 13.

Scoring had been a problem for Torpedo – they managed just four goals from their opening six games this season – but last week's 5-2 destruction of FC Minsk suggests misplaced shooting boots have been suddenly located. Slavia have taken just one point from their last two home games, that run is likely to get worse this weekend.

Match Odds: Slavia Mozyr (33/20) Draw (21/10) Torpedo Belaz Zhodino (29/20)
Tip: Torpedo Belaz Zhodino (29/20)
Correct score: Slavia Mozyr 1-2 Torpedo Belaz Zhodino (9/1)

Neman Grodno vs Ruh Brest | Saturday May 9, 15:00 GMT

If you tune into just one Belarusian Premier League match this weekend, I'm going to do you a solid here and suggest any one other than this. Ruh Brest are arguably the most boring team in world football at the moment: seven games played involving a total of six goals with no team scoring more than once.

Neman Grodno have a fine defensive record – just six goals conceded in their last 12 at the Neman Stadium. Ruh will do their best to suck the life out of this game, but it surely won't be enough. Go for a home win here.

Match Odds: Neman Grodno (5/4) Draw (39/20) Ruh Brest (21/10)
Tip: Total goals by Ruh Brest under 0.5 (6/5)
Correct score: Neman Grodno 1-0 Ruh Brest (19/4)

FC Isloch vs FC Belshina Bobruisk | Saturday May 9, 17:00 GMT

The high point of Belshina's terrible start to the season has been the two 1-1 draws that stemmed the flow of defeats at the start of the campaign. Sure enough however, they followed up those two straight defeats – against FC Minsk and Dinamo Brest – conceding three goals on each occasion.

Isloch on the other hand will be looking to make some ground on the top three. Having won four of their last five league matches at home, they have every chance to do that this weekend.

Match odddds: FC Isloch (13/20) Draw (12/5) FC Belshina Bobruisk (4/1
Tip: FC Isloch to score in both halves (21/10)
Correct score: FC Isloch 2-0 FC Belshina Bobruisk (8/1)

Vitebsk vs Shakytor Soligursk | Sunday May 3, 14:00 GMT

Vitebsk have won both of their last two home games against Shakytor, but if you zoom out slightly, those two wins were the only time they avoided defeat in the last nine meetings between the sides. More to the point, it's really not a good time to face this particular opponent.

Shakytor can boast an impressive record of five clean sheets in their last six league games, notching six goals without reply in their last two alone. Win this and they're rubbing shoulders with the big boys, and win this they surely will.

Match Odds: Vitebsk (23/5) Draw (23/20) Shakytor Soligursk (8/13)
Tip: Shakytor Soligursk to be winning at half-time (13/10)
Correct score: Vitebsk 1-2 Shakytor Soligursk (15/2)

Smolevichi vs BATE Borisov | Sunday May 10, 16:00 GMT

These sides could barely have more opposing records heading into this fixture which could see BATE take top spot for the first time this season. Smolovichi are on a run of seven games without a win, only kept off the bottom by virtue of a solitary draw, and are the lowest scorers in the league this season with just three goals.

BATE on the other have put a troubled start behind them to go five games without defeat with Neman's consolation effort last week the only time their goal has been breached in that run. They've scored at least two goals in four of those matches, so back BATE to put Smolevichi to the sword and threaten FC Slutsk's lead at the top.

Match Odds: Smolevichi (23/2) Draw (4/1) BATE Borisov (11/50
Tip: BATE Borisov over 2.5 goals (31/20)
Correct score: Smolevichi 0-3 BATE Borisov (6/1)

Dinamo Brest vs Dinamo Minsk | Sunday May 10, 18:00 GMT

Dinamo Brest have the chance to right the singular from last season – their only defeat all season came at home to Dinamo Minsk. While getting this season up and running will be a more powerful motivator than petty revenge, footballers can be petty and revenge can be ever so sweet.

Dinamo Minsk have been fully committed to the all or nothing approach so far – seven games, four wins, three defeats, no draws. There is palpable 'Go Big or Go Home' energy emitting from the seven-time league winners just now but – can I shock you? – I'm going for a draw. There's nothing to split these two middling sides just now: scoring just about as many as they're each conceding and struggling for any kind of consistency.

Match Odds: Dinamo Brest (57/20) Draw (11/5) Dinamo Minsk (43/20)
Tip: Scores to be level at half-time (21/20)
Correct score: Dinamo Brest 1-1 Dinamo Minsk (27/5)
