The Belarusian Premier League is one of the only leagues in world football unrestricted by the Coronavirus outbreak. With other European leagues having now ended the 2019/20 season, and no clear timescale for the return of the Premier League, who knows, we may all end up Torpedo Zhodino or BATE Borisov supporters before too long. Watch every Belarusian Premier League game live with Unibet TV.

Energetik BGU vs Smolevichy | Friday May 1, 14:00 GMT

Energetik's mightily impressive 100% record to start the season has subsequently become a 50% record – three straight wins followed by three straight defeats. A good time then to face a side yet to win a game all season. Smolevichy's opening day draw at Dinamo Brest is all that keeps them off the bottom at present, and with just three goals in six games, it's tough to envisage an immediate turnaround in fortunes here.

Match Odds: Energetik BGU (23/20) Draw (2/1) Smolevichy (9/4)
Tip: Energetik BGU (23/20)
Correct score: Energetik BGU 1-0 Smolevichy (5/1)

FC Minsk vs Torpedo Belaz Zhodino | Saturday May 2, 12:00 GMT

Last time out, Minsk snapped their three-match losing streak with a 3-1 win away to Slavia but they're up against it at home to in-form Torpedo. The third-placed side have kept a clean sheet in five out of their six Premier League matches this season, and with a chance to leapfrog Isloch and Slutsk at the top of the table, they're worth a punt here.

Match Odds: FC Minsk (8/5) Draw (39/20) Torpedo Belaz Zhodino (33/20)
Tip: Torpedo Belaz Zhodino (33/20)
Correct score: FC Minsk 1-2 Torpedo Belaz Zhodino (19/2)

Ruh Brest vs Gorodeya | Saturday May 2, 14:00 GMT

It's tough to know what to make of Ruh's 'won two, drawn two, lost two, scored two, conceded two' record so far this season. On the one hand, they have the best defensive record in the league, on the other, they have the worst attacking record. Gorodeya fell to defeat last week at home to BATE but a promising run of three straight wins beforehand has them comfortably mid-table. Back them for a third 1-0 win on the road this season.

Match Odds: Ruh Brest (10/11) Draw (23/10) Gorodeya (13/5)
Tip: Gorodeya (13/5)
Correct score: Ruh Brest 0-1 Gorodeya (13/2)

Dinamo Minsk vs FC Slutsk | Saturday May 2, 16:00 GMT

FC Slutsk have won not won four straight away games since 2018, but they have a chance to right that this weekend. Wins over Aktobe (0-4), Isloch (2-3) and Shakytor (1-2) have been the backbone of Slutsk's excellent start to the campaign – heading into this weekend, they sit top of the table – not bad for a side still only seventh in the outright betting (25/1).

But Minsk will be no pushovers. With nine points in their last four games, they appear to have found the form that deserted them during a run of just one win in 11 prior to that. On the back of two straight 2-0 wins at Dinamo Stadium, they should be a match for the runaway leaders.

Match Odds: Dinamo Minsk (3/5) Draw (29/10) FC Slutsk (7/2)
Tip: Draw (29/10)
Correct score: Dinamo Minsk 2-2 FC Slutsk (16/1)

FC Belshina Bobruisk vs Dinamo Brest | Saturday May 3, 12:00 GMT

Belshina are rock bottom, conceding double the mount of goals they are scoring (10:5), without a win in any of their last 13 Belarusian Premier League. It's been a worrying start to the season to say the least. Brest come into this game on a bad run themselves, but a more long-term view casts them in a better light. They may have lost three of their last four matches, but that's the same number of defeats they had in the previous 44 games (32 wins, 9 draws, 3 defeats). Dinamo are a cut above at present – back them for the win.

Match Odds: FC Belshina Bobruisk (18/5) Draw (14/5) Dinamo Brest (3/5)
Tip: Dinamo Brest
Correct score: FC Belshina Bobruisk 1-2 Dinamo Brest (15/2)

Vitebsk vs Slavia Mozyr | Sunday May 3, 14:00 GMT

This one has home win written all over it. Vitebsk have won their last two Premier League matches on their own patch without conceding a goal, and they've also kept five clean sheets in seven against their opponents here. Slavia have also managed just one goal in their last four games from which they've taken just a single point. Back Vitebsk.

Match Odds: Vitebsk (13/10) Draw (41/20) Slavia Mozyr (39/20)
Tip: Vitebsk
Correct score: Vitebsk 2-0 Slavia Mozyr (9/1)

BATE Borisov vs Neman Grodno | Sunday May 3, 16:00 GMT

Last season was the first year since 2006 that anyone other than BATE won the Belarusian Premier League title. A positive reaction was required from Belarus' top club and in the immediate short-term, that's the opposite of what they got. Three defeats in the first four games hinted at a possible power shift, however, a swift return to form has curtailed that line of reasoning.

BATE have now gone four games without conceding, winning three in that run. Taking on Neman who have scored in just two of their last 10 away games, you've got to fancy their chances again.

Match Odds: BATE Borisov (8/25) Draw (7/2) Neman Grodno (15/2)
Tip: BATE Borisov
Correct score: BATE Borisov 3-0 Neman Grodno (13/2)

Shakytor Soligorsk vs FC Isloch | Sunday May 3, 18:00 GMT

Isloch Minsk haven't had a goalless draw ever since a 0-0 with BATE almost a year ago. And whilst the subsequent 24 matches have produced 70 goals – at 2.9 per game – Shakytor Soligorsk is not currently the sort of away game in which you expect to score a lot of goals.

Of the 13 teams to have featured in the Belarusian Premier League for both of the last two seasons, Shakytor's record of conceding just 24 goals in 36 matches – or 0.67 per game – is bettered by nobody. We could be looking at Belarus' defence in this team. It's unlikely to be a classic, but Shakytor's sturdy defence and adequate attack should see them home.

Match Odds: Shakytor Soligorsk (16/25) Draw (13/5) FC Isloch (18/5)
Tip: Shakytor Soligorsk
Correct score: Shakytor Soligorsk 1-0 FC Isloch (5/1)
