THE majority of our Cheltenham squad had their final schooling session this morning and everything went really well. Barry came over and jumped the likes Unibet Champion Hurdle favourite Epatante, who was her usual very slick self, along with Champ who was excellent.

Nico also schooled Pentland Hills and we’re all extremely pleased with him going into next week. Santini schooled over fences in a set of cheek pieces and we have decided that he will be declared to wear them in the Magners Gold Cup just to help him concentrate. He’s not lazy by any means but after discussing it with Nico and Mr & Mrs Kelvin-Hughes we have come to the conclusion that it certainly wouldn’t do any harm. Burrows Edge will also wear them in the Coral Cup.
