WEST APPROACH was a stylish winner when ridden cold last time out at Cheltenham, finally getting his head in front. The ground and trip will be no problem and the 4lb penalty wouldn't have stopped him the last day. The yard know what it takes to win the race and he has a lovely racing weight in a race we're paying AN EXTRA PLACE in!

Punters will be hoping it's a good day for team Hobbs and Johnson as NO COMMENT is another who has been really well supported in the lucky last! He's another who has been highly tried, including at Grade 1 level, and he drops to 2miles today. That might just suit, especially if the big field provides a proper pace to aim at, and he should be doing his best work up Newbury's long straight. A fascinating gamble!
