CAID DU LIN won this very race last year and the traders report good money on him retaining his crown today! He's only 6lbs heavier than last year and the 7yo has been in good form so far this season. His shrewd handler will have him primed and punters were quick to gobble the double figure prices!

Interestingly the money in the big race at Haydock is for Cheltenham Festival hero FRODON. Trainer Paul Nicholls has a fine record in the race and the small field and potential for a soft lead could suit the game front runner. He does stay too as he showed at Cheltenham in January.
