NEWBURY

3:40 Weatherbys Super Sprint

Audio (Pat Dobbs)

He probably should have won a race by now as he’s hit the cross bar on more than one occasion but the raw ability is there and a race like this will help him get plenty of cover and he should get a nice toe into it. We’re putting a tongue tie on and the drop back to five won’t be a problem. He wouldn’t be one of the best chances we’ve ever run in this race, and others have more convincing profiles, but it wouldn’t surprise me to see him go well.

Separate (Andrea Atzeni)

She’s got a lot of class and would probably be our best chance of the quartet. I like her attitude and her work has been very good. Andrea Atzeni is an obvious plus and I fancy her to run a huge race if getting some luck from stall 24.

Ocasio Cortez (Franny Norton)

She’s definitely got to improve a bit and has lots to find on official ratings but this big field will help to her along and she seems to handle any ground.

Bacchalot (John Fahy)

She willl do well to win this off 64 but stays well so will be doing her best work at the end but realistically she has a mountain to climb and I’ll be surprised if she’s good enough.

4:10 Novice Stakes

Cheat (Pat Dobbs)

He ran well at Doncaster on debut and will definitely have come on for it so I’d be expecting to see him run a sound race. I’ve been happy with his work and he has a chance.

Written Broadcast (Andrea Atzeni)

I liked the way he travelled at Doncaster but he just blew up in the closing stages therefore, I’d expect there to be a lot of improvement this time round. We’ve got some nice horses for Sheikh Obaid and this colt is one of them. I expect him to run a huge race.

4:45 Fillies’ Handicap

Red Starlight (Pat Dobbs)

I really like this filly as she has a great attitude and always tries her best. If she can replicate her Royal Hunt Cup run, when she was beaten only three lengths, she would have to go extremely close here. She takes her racing well and has a great chance on ground that will suit.

5:20 Handicap

War Glory (Pat Dobbs)

He stays a mile but will have no problem stepping back down to 7f and he ran a decent race at Ascot last time. That said, he very much looks in the handicapper’s grip so probably needs to come down a few pounds.

NEWMARKET

2:05 Fillies’ Novice

Fromnowon (Sean Levey)

She was unlucky not to win on her first run at Newbury but has come on leaps and bounds since then and off the back of that effort she would have to be right up there with a winning chance. Going up to seven furlongs which will see her in an even better light, too.

Junvieve (Seamus Cronin)

She’s a nice filly who has done everything we’ve asked of her but will definitely improve for the run and I think we have a better chance with Fromnowon.

3:50 Handicap

Kuwait Currency (Sean Levey)

His three runs this season have been absolutely appalling and for that reason it would be foolish to fancy him here. However, he’s been gelded and going back down to a mile may help. Sometimes a gelding operation seems to do the trick so we’ll see what happens today.

HAYDOCK

6:30 Novice

Always Fearless (Stevie Donohoe)

He needs to show more than he did at Doncaster on his first run, although he has improved since and will be sharper now but, he’ll need to be.

Mambo Nights (Rossa Ryan)

He’s a very nice colt by Havana Gold who works quite well. Like a lot of ours, he’s entitled to come on for the run but I’m very happy with what he shows and think he should run a decent race.

DONCASTER

6:15 Maiden Fillies’

Love Powerful (Tom Marquand)

It all went wrong coming out of the stalls at Kempton and she completely lost her action so Sean, quite rightly, pulled her up. She’s absolutely fine however and we’ve done plenty of work and stalls practice with her since and everything has gone well. It doesn’t look a bad Maiden but our filly has plenty of ability and I’m hoping she can leave last time well and truly behind her.
