The Cashel Man

He was a very good stayer two or three years ago when trained by David Simcock, and he has definite claims off this mark on that level of form. He ran well on all three starts over hurdles for Nicky before reverting to the Flat on his last two starts, running okay both times. He was perhaps a little disappointing at York last time but he has been dropped 2lb and, as his fourth in the 2016 Cesarewitch showed, he stays this trip very well. The bit more ease than at York last time could be a plus, too.
