AYR

Buckeye Shan

2.30pm
5/2 from 7/2

The Peter Bowen yard is notoriously shrewd and BUCKEYE SHAN has been supported this morning which could be telling. He fell on his first start for this handler and having slipped down the ratings for his previous yard. Son Sean takes over in the saddle and it would be no surprise to see this one go well.

We are paying AN EXTRA PLACE on this race too!

Court Dreaming

3.35pm
7/4 from 2/1

121 rated COURT DREAMING gets into this 0-120 race and has the assistence of a supremely talented 7lb claimer. The step up to 3 miles looks certain to suit, as will the ground, and he has to be the one to beat here.

WETHERBY

Franz Kafka

2.20pm
8/15 from 8/11

For those who like a short-priced 'banker' FRANZ KAFKA looks to be the one today. John Gosden's 3yo has been runner up the last twice, including to the the very talented Fox Champion trained by Unibet ambassador Richard Hannon, and if he can run to his mark of 86 he should take the prize today. His main market rival, who is unraced, is relatively weak which might explain the support for the favourite today!

Today's EXTRA PLACE races are the 2.30pm at Ayr, the 3.55pm at Wetherby and the 6.50pm at Exeter
