ANGEL ALEXANDER is a new favourite for this five furlong handicap following steady support this morning. He's well drawn and was hugely consistent last year with three seconds from all three runs. He's been gelded and there could be improvement in him today ahead of his handicap debut for a yard that operates well at this track.

Aidan O'Brien's SIR DRAGONET was a huge drifter when winning on debut recently and it's interesting that he steps straight up to Group 3 company in the Chester Vase. He doesn't appear to be the yard's first string but Hermosa and Magna Grecia weren't either and that didn't stop them! He's impeccably bred and will relish every yard of this trip.

FUTURE INVESTMENT was a huge price when running a massive race on debut at Windsor in what appears to be a hot Maiden race. The Beckett yard is red hot, operating at 27% for tha last 14 days and this stoutly bred full brother to Mountain Bell is bound to improve both for that run. A big chance.
