He has really come alive in recent months. He went up 12lb for his two successes, but that still didn’t prevent him running an absolute blinder when second to Verdana Blue in the Scottish Champion Hurdle. Another 1lb rise for that run looks fair enough, as he had some good horses behind him at Ayr, and everything looks in place for another big run from him. I just hope the rain stays away for him.
