Barca progressed to the Champions League semi-finals this month and preparations to face Liverpool are already underway. It means they may take their eye off La Liga for a while — and that could help Sociedad on Saturday!
Barca are expected to rest some players for this weekend clash and Sociedad know they were close to pinching a point off the Catalans back in September, where they lost 2-1 at home.
That game saw Sociedad play on the counter attack against Barca — most teams do, after all — and it almost worked. Considering Sociedad have lost just one in five games (DDWLD) a draw here is maybe worth looking at, with a price of 6.25.
Of course, the head says a Barca win, which can be backed at 1.24.
Madrid vs Bilbao – Sunday, April 21 at 15:15 BST
Madrid’s season is effectively over. They are out of the Champions League, the Copa del Rey and the title race. They sit third in the table, four points behind Atl Madrid – their neighbours in the Spanish capital – and a comfortable nine points ahead of fourth-place Sevilla.

So what can we expect from Madrid’s last six games of the season? Well, the odd routine win should occur as the manager works on a plan for next term. Expect changes in the starting XI on a regular basis, with most players getting a run-out to prove their value.
It makes this match a tough one to bet on. Bilbao are seventh in the table and have a realistic shot at Europa League qualification for next term. But they need to leapfrog Valencia — who are three points ahead.
Bilbao are enjoying some good form (WWWLW) and part of that streak saw them beat Atl Madrid 2-0 in mid-March. Heading to the Bernabeu will be no problem for these players.
That’s why a draw at 4.60 could well be worth backing here. Both teams to score is also well priced at 1.63.
Betis vs Valencia – Sunday, April 21 at 19:45 BST

Valencia were frustrated to a 0-0 draw with Betis back in September in a game that highlighted the hosts’ weaknesses that have come to define their season. A lack of firepower and creativity in the final third has cost Valencia a shot at Champions League football.
Betis were enjoying a strong season until the New Year, where they have since won just five games. A 3-2 loss at Sevilla last Saturday at least highlighted their attacking intent but too often Betis have been guilty of lapse defending.
Valencia could well win this match 3-0 and are priced at 23.00 to do just that. It simply depends on which Betis team decides to come out on Sunday night. Their season will effectively be over with a defeat here.
