AINTREE

La Bague Au Roi

1.45pm
13/8 from 7/4

LA BAGUE AU ROI is very much the one to beat in the opener at Aintree and punters will be hoping Warren Greatrex's mare can get the off to the perfect start. She's won two Grade 1s on the bounce and has the perfect partner in Dickie Johnson. Expect the pair to be staying on strongly all the way to the line!

Band Of Outlaws

2.20pm
6/4 from 15/8

BAND OF OUTLAWS hacked up at Cheltenham in the Fred Winter and punters will be looking for another favourite to do the business in the second race. It's possible main market rival Pentland Hills won a bad Triumph Hurdle and it looks fascinating that a) Band Of Outlaws is favourite despite winning the 'weaker' Cheltenham race and b) the money is still coming for him. A race to savour!

Kemboy

2.50pm
15/8 from 9/4

KEMBOY didn't get much beyond the first fence in the Cheltenham Gold Cup but that might play in his favour as he arrives here having not had a tough race. Ruby Walsh is in the plate and a repeat of his Irish form from earlier in the year could see him very difficult to beat around a track that is certain to suit.

Timetochill

5.15pm
10/1 from 18/1

TIMETOCHILL is an interesting each-way gamble in the lucky last. This Listed Mares bumper winner is unbeaten in two starts and her high cruising speed should suit round this tight, flat track. This selection has also been put up by The Wine Tipster – click here to read his tips for today.
