NBA live stream and betting

Lakers v Warriors – Tuesday, January 22 at 03:30 GMT

It’s worth setting your alarm clock early for this one, as the Lakers welcome Golden State to Los Angeles. LeBron James is expected to miss the clash with a groin injury and that is a problem for the Lakers.

After all, they went on a disappointing run of results after James suffered his injury on Christmas Day. The Lakers have dropped well off the pace in the Eastern Conference and the 138-134 defeat to the Rockets at the weekend was a bitter blow.

Golden State look destined to reach another NBA Finals series this season. They head into this game on a seven-win streak that includes surpassing 140 points three times. The Warriors are on fire here but are not worth backing for the win, as they are priced at 1.14.

Instead, back the Warriors to win with 233.5 total points scored at 2.20.

Raptors v Kings – Wednesday, January 23 at 00:00 GMT

Toronto are maintaining the pressure in the Eastern Conference this season and sit just behind leaders Milwaukee heading into Wednesday’s game. The Raptors – led by Kawhi Leonard – are showing how a team made up a fewer superstars than their rivals can still compete to be the best.

The Raptors pummelled the Grizzlies 119-90 on their last outing over the weekend and defensively have been very solid this season. Danny Green is increasingly coming to the fore this season, while Serge Ibaka is a reliable points scorer without being a prima-donna superstar.

The Kings should pose little threat to Toronto on Wednesday. Yes, they have enjoyed a strong run of results in mid-January — including two triumphs over the Pistons — but Dave Joerger’s men cannot match up to an in-form Raptors side. This is Toronto’s game for the taking.

Nets v Magic – Thursday, January 24 at 00:30 GMT

A tantalising match-up on Thursday sees the Nets host a Magic side stuck in a rut. Orlando endured a miserable time of it last week, losing to the Pistons, Bucks and Thursday’s opponents, Brooklyn. The 117-115 home loss to the Nets was tough to stomach for head coach Steve Clifford. Orlando simply couldn’t handle D'Angelo Russell as their defence was exposed on a number of occasions.

Less than a week later and the two sides meet again — this time in Brooklyn. And it’s fair to say the Nets are favourites to inflict another defeat on Clifford.

Yes, Russell’s staggering 40 points last week’s game did win it for Brooklyn. But this is far from a one-man team. Basketball betting fans wanting to watch the game are advised to keep an eye on Spencer Dinwiddie following his strong run of form.
