Tennis live stream and betting tips

Auckland – Men’s Final – Saturday, January 12 at 01:00 GMT (approx)

The Auckland Open has already seen some big names fall in the early rounds. Top seed John Isner fell in round two, as did Italy’s Marco Cecchinato. Three other top-seven seeds crashed out in round one.

It means the draw is wide open by the quarter-final stage and Britain’s Cameron Norrie – a wild card for the event – has a great shout of winning his first title of 2019. Fabio Fognini remains in the draw and Leonardo Mayer would prove a tough final opponent if Norrie got that far.

But the Brit is the man to follow on your live tennis stream here and he is 9.00 to win the Auckland title. The favourite is Philipp Kohlschreiber at 4.00 but he must navigate his way past Fognini and then either Mayer or Tennys Sandgren to reach the final. That looks like a tough ask.

Sydney International – Women’s Final – Saturday, January 12 at 02:00 GMT

Another tournament where some big names have fallen early is here in Sydney. Top seed Simona Halep was out by the second round and looks a concern for the Australian Open. Sloane Stephens – many people’s tennis bet for the Melbourne crown – also went out early in Sydney.

It leaves Angelique Kerber as the early favourite to win the Sydney International at this quarter-final stage. You can bet and watch Angelique Kerber vs Petra Kvitova in what should be a thrilling match at 08:00 GMT on Tuesday, January 10 – and bet in-play!

Kerber is 3.60 to win the Sydney International, with Kvitova at 5.50. But the big bet could well be Ashleigh Barty, the American at 5.00 who has impressed over the past 12 months. She is an outside tip to reach the Australian Open semi-finals this January. Barty must bypass Elise Mertens and then possibly Kiki Bertens to reach the final in Sydney. She is 2.50 to do that.

Sydney International – Men’s Final – Saturday, January 12 at 04:00 GMT (approx)

The top four seeds in the Sydney International men’s draw have all reached the quarter-final stage. And it looks as though one of them will win this competition. Top seed Stefanos Tsitsipas is tipped for big things in 2019 and breezed past lucky loser Guido Andreozzi in his first match in Sydney. Yet Tsitsipas’ only career title was the Next Gen Finals last year and he is not well backed in this market.

Instead, tennis betting fans may be better tempted by Argentina’s Diego Schwartzman. The 26-year-old has never really made an impact on the ATP Tour — with just two singles tales to his name. Both of those came on clay but Schwartzman should meet Tsitsipas in the semi-finals in Sydney — so one of these guys has a real chance of a title early in 2019.

In the bottom half of the draw, the experienced Gilles Simon could come up against Australia’s 19-year-old Alex de Minaur in the semis. Now, De Minaur enjoyed a breakthrough year in 2018, reaching the third round of Wimbledon and the US. In front of a home crowd, De Minaur is a good bet at 3.75 to clinch his first title.
