But the Nets have suffered defensively all season. Considering the strength of this Milwaukee offence, the Bucks are well placed to win this game.
Magic vs Pistons – Sunday, December 30 at 20:30 GMT
Neither Orlando nor Detroit appear to be making much ground in the NBA this season and thoughts are already straying to the trade deals for next term. The Magic have endured a miserable Christmas, losing four games on the bounce. Before this clash with the Pistons they must face the high-flying Raptors — so the chances are they will be on a five-game losing streak heading into this fixture.
The Pistons aren’t exactly pulling up trees either. But NBA betting fans are advised to back them to get an away win here. A 106-95 win over the Wizards made up for low-scoring defeats against the Hawks and Hornets before Christmas. Blake Griffin and Langston Galloway remain their most reliable scorers and they should have enough to roll over the Magic, even away from home.
Raptors vs Bulls – Sunday, December 30 at 23:00 GMT
The Raptors are looking good for a playoff place now as they sail at the top of the Eastern Conference. But how long can they stay there? Assuming the Bucks also win over the weekend, Toronto need a result here against a Bulls side languishing at the bottom of the conference.
The Raptors stuffed Chicago 122-83 back in November in one of the most dominant displays in the NBA this season. It was a chastening defeat for the Bulls and they haven’t really recovered since. In the six weeks preceding this game, Chicago have won just five of 18 games.
The Raptors should easily win this game and the big basketball betting tip would be to back Kawhi Leonard to top score in a wincast.
