A sustained gamble has developed on CARRIGMOORNA MATT at Catterick today. He gets one of the best 5lb claimers in the business and reverts to fences for the first time in a while. He's not an obvious pick on form, which perhaps makes this gamble all the more noteworthy!! One to watch closely for a yard that banged in an easy winner recently.

GRAY DAY is another Catterick steamer, this time for Donald and Abbie McCain. Presumably he'll strip considerably fitter for his seasonal reappearance after nearly a year off and he has been rated some 17lbs higher than this is in the past. Unexposed, he's another to note given the weight of support.

SPEEDY CARGO is a really well backed favourite at Fakenham today. 3rd in a big field handicap latest when cheekpieces were applied, Dickie Johnson takes over in the plate. He makes his rules Chase debut but has plenty of point experience and looks the one to beat in what doesn't look the deepest of races!
